Service Gifts

Giving

Giving freely releases money, possessions, time, or opportunity for God's work and another person's good. Its center is generosity rather than recognition.

Recurring patterns in how you serve, strengthen, care for, lead and build up others, drawn from Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12 and related New Testament passages.

Creation to restoration

Its place in the Bible's one story

God created people to reflect His generous rule by caring for one another and cultivating His world. Sin bent service toward neglect, control, and self-interest, yet God formed Israel to become a blessing and repeatedly raised faithful servants for His purposes. Jesus, the servant King, announced and demonstrated God's present Kingdom, gave His life for others, and rose in victory. By the Spirit, His people now share His practical love as a foretaste of the day when creation is restored and every hidden act of faithfulness is brought into the light.

Giving supplies needs, releases ministry, and bears witness to a Kingdom in which resources are received as gifts and shared in love.

Recognizing it wisely

A pattern of quiet, joyful generosity is stronger evidence than a single large gift. Wise giving remains voluntary, accountable, proportionate, and attentive to genuine needs rather than emotional pressure.
